I have always been creative. Herpaintology was founded on a dream and determination to turn my love of reptiles and skill as a painter into a business. For the first 2 years painting and prints of said paintings were the bulk of my business. Then... artist block :( So I took to tinkering with jewelry and then there was this snake shed from a friend when I bought some crafting furs. After letting it sit around a for a few months I wondered what this would look like over a wooden form.

Thus dragonhide pendants were born. Herpaintology is the proud originator of the snake shed pendant and sports over 20 different species/morphs of reptile sheds. And the collection is growing!

I take custom orders of sheds I currently have, see a pattern you like but not in the color you love, let me know.
